Community Bees on Bikes is the education arm of the Beez Kneez.
- We provide experiential, in hive education programming to raise awareness of the vital role honey bees and other pollinators play in our food system
- We maintain honey bee hives in Twin Cities community gardens, parks, schools and urban farms
Want to learn about bees? We want to teach you!
Community Bees on Bikes has immersive honey bee classes! Registration for spring and summer class is open! Sign up here!
Want to bring your class on a field trip?
Visit a Community Bees on Bikes Hive with your class! We teach standards based experiential education- every kid* will be able to put on a beesuit and safely explore a working honeybee hive. Lessons can easily be tailored to include topics you’re studying- and not just science! There are direct connections between honeybees and literacy, math, and social studies. We LOVE working with teachers to design field trips to fit your needs. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
